  • Walk-in Chillers – Goods In / Goods Out
  • 100 m2 production space

1x workbench with 2 staff, all utilities included. Shared space.
8-hour shift: €145
4-hour shift: €95

Food Business Registration

Every user should first register their food business with the HSE, via the online portal: https://ehonline.hse.ie/

An Environmental Health Officer (EHO) will be assigned to the business.

The EHO will inspect the relevant food safety requirements of the business e.g. packaging & labelling, premises, food safety records and HACCP, food safety
training etc.

How to Produce at BIA

  1. Application to BIA via online form
  2. Registration and/or approval with relevant regulator
  3. Food hygiene requirements – Food safety training – Certified HACCP level 3 (QQI L5)
  4. HACCP plan specific to business
  5. Traceability system – e.g. Batch coding, offsite storage
  6. Insurance – public liability and product liability indemnity of €6.5m; additional
    indemnity note specific to BIA Innovator Campus on the policy.
