The LOPPO (Land of Opportunities) mission is to promote sustainable rural development. It aims to train and advise current and future green entrepreneurs to develop essential digital, leadership and communication skills to boost the economic and social development of rural areas. It will provide targeted training, including courses for adults with low qualifications, migrants, refugees, young adults and women at risk of social exclusion. It is committed to establishing a network of local stakeholders to promote cooperation to allow participants to propose effective solutions. The project initiatives include:
Training course: provide training and guidance on how to start and successfully manage rural business. This will be done via the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) where the modules focussing on sustainable agriculture, marketing, communication, business and digital skills.
Social hackathons: planned local activities in all partner countries to implement ecological measures.
